Job Description
Job Duties:
Choosing quality cuts of meat and trimming, seasoning, marinating or brining them according to recipes and standards. Operating and maintaining smokers, grilled and other BBQ equipment by utilizing different smoking techniques. Ensuring meats are cooked to the correct temperature and tenderness while delivering top-notch quality. Adhering to both health and safety and food safety and sanitation guidelines and standards on a daily basis. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Working with the Moo Moo Team to ensure the best service for customers. Other duties as needed.
Qualifications and Knowledge:
Previous experience as a Pit Master or similar work would be considered an asset. Excellent verbal and written and verbal communication. An understanding of cleaning protocols, food safety precautions, and local laws and regulations. Ability to lift 30 or more pounds. Ability to stand for long periods of time in a warm space.
Other Skills and Attributes:
Superb communication skills. Ability to multitask and pivot tasks quickly in a fast paced environment. Strong attention to detail and with strong time management skills. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to exercise sounds judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analysis. A great sense of humor.
