Located on Bourbon street in West Edmonton Mall, Dallas Smokehouse BBQ is seeking Pit Assistants to primarily carve and plate meals. We are looking for individuals who take pride in their BBQ skills. If you have the passion and can handle the heat, we would love you on our team!
Responsibilities
Slicing and plating of the BBQ to order
Maintain kitchen and food standards
Some monitoring cook times and temperatures for meats
Manage the Pit, ensuring consistent heat and smoke levels
Keep a clean, organized, and sanitary workspace
Prep, Season, and cook meats to Dallas Smokehouse perfection
Requirements
The ability to work in a hot, fast paced environment
Strong understanding of food safety and kitchen operations
Proven experience with prepping and preparing meat
Strong physical endurance, maintaining calm under pressure
Works collaboratively with fellow staff members to ensure a positive and efficient workspace
Prior experience inside a BBQ restaurant is a plus
