You will lead a team of professionals in the design and construction of small to large-scale energy-related pipeline and facilities projects. You will be the key contact for client relations and will be responsible for project budgetary deliverables within the required safety, environmental, and regulatory frameworks.

Experience with pipeline system design and construction based on CSA Z662 code
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, and Project)
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership of a project team to achieve delivery of engineering tasks on-schedule & on-budget
Develop project proposals, resource plans, project execution plans, and quality plans
Maintain project schedules by monitoring project progress, risks, costs and scope
Accountable for managing project performance against approved budget, schedule, quality, and safety requirements
Review and contribute to project contract/rate negotiations
Communicate project progress reports to all stakeholders and lead client bi-weekly update meetings
Establish and maintain positive client relationships
Understand and ensure that customer expectations related to project scope are met and exceeded
Proactively employ project change and risk management
Review of RFQs, contracts and drafting proposals
Occasional travel to project sites
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Civil engineering and professional engineering status
5 - 10 years of pipeline engineering and/or project management related experience
Experience in coordinating/leading project proposals
Member of APEGA (other jurisdictions an asset)
Familiarity with engineering standards relevant to the oil and gas pipeline industry (including CSA, ASME, API, and Alberta Pipeline Rules, etc.)
Experience with Canadian jurisdictions and their various acts and regulations
Project Management Certification (PMP) is considered an asset
