Available Positions:
Welding Inspector (
Current CWB certification (documentation required)Conduct visual inspections of pipeline welding work
Review welding procedures and verify welder qualifications
Ensure compliance with Canadian Standards Association (CSA) and industry codes
Document non-conformances and provide detailed inspection reports
Work on field-based assignments across various pipeline construction and maintenance projects
NACE Inspector (
Current NACE CIP certification Level 1 or 2 (documentation required)Perform coating and corrosion inspections on pipeline infrastructure
Monitor surface preparation and coating application processes
Conduct holiday detection testing and cathodic protection system evaluations
Ensure protective systems meet NACE International standards
Travel to remote pipeline locations in varying weather conditions
Utility Inspector
Oversee pipeline construction activities and ensure regulatory compliance
Conduct right-of-way inspections and monitor excavation activities
Verify pipe installation and oversee pressure testing procedures
Ensure environmental compliance and safety protocol adherence
Coordinate with contractors, utility personnel, and regulatory bodies
Mechanical Inspectors - Station Work
(Mechanical engineering background or equivalent experience required)Conduct thorough inspections of mechanical systems, equipment, and components at pipeline stations including pumps, compressors, valves, and pressure vessels
Review and verify installation procedures, welding quality, and material specifications for mechanical systems while documenting findings and non-conformances
Perform pre-commissioning and commissioning inspections of station equipment, coordinating with operations teams to ensure safe startup procedures
Monitor contractor work activities and ensure adherence to project specifications, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements including NEB/CER guidelines
Prepare detailed inspection reports and maintain accurate records of all mechanical system inspections and testing activities
Civil Inspectors
(Civil engineering technology diploma or equivalent field experience required)Inspect civil construction activities including excavation, backfill, road crossings, and facility construction to ensure compliance with engineering drawings and specifications
Monitor soil conditions, compaction testing, and environmental protection measures during pipeline construction activities
Verify proper installation of cathodic protection systems, pipeline markers, and other civil infrastructure components
Conduct quality assurance inspections of concrete work, grading, drainage systems, and site restoration activities
Coordinate with environmental monitors and ensure compliance with environmental management plans and permit conditions
Project Admin
(Administrative background with project coordination experience preferred)Manage project documentation including inspection records, test certificates, material traceability reports, and regulatory compliance documentation
Coordinate inspection schedules and resource allocation between multiple inspection teams and construction crews
Process and track non-conformance reports, ensuring timely resolution and proper documentation of corrective actions
Maintain project databases and generate regular progress reports for project management and regulatory authorities
Support permit applications and regulatory submissions by compiling technical documentation and inspection data
Chief Inspectors
(Minimum 10 years inspection experience with leadership background required)Lead and supervise multi-disciplinary inspection teams across large-scale pipeline construction projects, ensuring consistent quality standards and regulatory compliance
Develop inspection protocols and procedures specific to project requirements while ensuring alignment with industry standards and regulatory expectations
Interface with regulatory bodies, clients, and contractors to resolve complex technical issues and ensure project deliverables meet all specifications
Manage inspection budgets, resources, and schedules while maintaining oversight of all quality assurance activities throughout the project lifecycle
Provide technical expertise and mentoring to junior inspectors while ensuring continuous improvement of inspection processes and procedures
Construction Managers
(Construction management degree or equivalent experience with PMP certification preferred)Oversee all aspects of pipeline construction projects from pre-construction planning through commissioning, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and quality standards
Manage contractor relationships and coordinate multiple work crews to optimize productivity while maintaining strict safety and environmental compliance
Lead project planning activities including resource allocation, logistics coordination, and risk management for complex pipeline installations
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements including CER regulations, provincial permits, and environmental management plans throughout construction phases
Provide leadership and direction to project teams while maintaining effective communication with stakeholders including landowners, regulatory agencies, and corporate management
Electrical Inspectors
(Electrical engineering technology background or journeyman electrician certification required)Inspect electrical systems and instrumentation at pipeline facilities including SCADA systems, control panels, lighting, and power distribution equipment
Verify proper installation and testing of cathodic protection systems, electrical grounding, and lightning protection systems according to CSA and IEEE standards
Conduct pre-energization inspections and witness testing of electrical equipment including transformers, switchgear, and motor control centers
Review electrical drawings, specifications, and test procedures to ensure compliance with electrical codes and project requirements
Document electrical system inspections and coordinate with utility companies for power connections and system commissioning activities
