A T PIPELINE FIELD QC

Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years' experience in Pipeline, Plant and Facility settings. CWB Welding Level 1 with

B31.3 Z662 and endorsements

. W47.1 or W59 endorsements as well would be considered an asset. Strong understanding of Z662 and B31.3 QC requirement. Well versed in ASME, ABSA, API and CSA Construction Codes. Ability to create and review technical documentation, including project plans, test procedures, and design documents. Knowledge of manufacturing and field installation processes of facility and pipeline work. Experience with weld mapping, as-built drawings, redlining engineered drawings, and creating hydro-test packages. Proficient in AcornPipe and Bluebeam Software. Knowledge of manufacturing processes (steel fabrication, welding, machining etc.). Able to develop, review and maintain metrics and quality audits. Proficient with Microsoft Office Valid H2S, First Aid, and CSO safety tickets. Hold and maintain a valid driver's license and acceptable driver's abstract.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Ensure timely compiling of turnover packages to meet the clients specified schedule. Protect all forms of proprietary information. Provide technical advice regarding design, construction, or program modifications and structural repairs to industrial and managerial personnel. Analyze maps, drawings, blueprints, to plan projects. Ensure compliance to both Client and Company requirements as per contractual obligations. Build and implement Inspection Test Plans (ITPs) as required. Interact with various managers to ensure the expedient transfer of documentation and records specific to product and services. Promote and advocate quality achievement and performance improvement across the organization. Coordinate field Verification of all modifications/changes executed by construction due to RFIs, NCRs or any other deviation notices to ensure they are done as per the specifications, standards and client approvals. Analyze and assist in Non-Conformance reporting to identify inconsistencies and support corrective action throughout the process. Control of Documents including Quality Manual, Quality System Procedures, Work Instructions, Quality Records, Quality Forms, Checklists, Industry Standards. Control traceability of materials. Conduct training regarding the Quality Management System. Monitor and control calibration of tools or equipment. Monitor, analyze and control Nonconformance Reports (NCR), Corrective Action Reports (CAR), and Preventative Action Reports (PAR). Point of contact for all QMS related inquiries from leadership, employees, clients of the Company. Responsible to source and provide answers to those inquiries within the framework of the QMS. Consult leadership as required. Overtime as required. Other duties as required.
