Job Duties & Responsibilities

Ability to shoot grades and establish grades. Cut and bevel pipe for ditch crew on installation. Properly prep and set up material for installation. Record and mark up drawings for as-builts at the end of the project. Work in a team environment with attention to safety and productivity Understand and comply with all company policies and procedures. Must be willing and able to learn general construction practices involving water, sewer, and road construction. Understand the issues involving ground disturbance and ability to work in and implement safe work practices and contribute to a safe work environment. Ability to work in a team environment. Promote, execute, and adhere to the company's safety program and encourage all employees, subcontractors, and consultants to adopt safety as a culture. Position Requirements & Skills

Excellent English verbal and written communication skills Three years of relevant experience Must be able to lift, push, pull, or carry objects for full-day shifts. Follow all safety and job procedures. CSTS certification or ability to achieve. High school diploma/GED Communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing. Knowledge of workplace safety and safe lifting and handling procedures. Possess the ability to operate required equipment safely and responsibly. Time management skills. The job requires working with tools, pipes, and materials. Ability to lift and manipulate objects of up to 50 lbs for 50 feet is required. Use of Personal Protective Equipment (e.g., hard hats, safety boots, etc.) will be required. Ability to read specifications, blueprints, and as-builds. Can adapt to changing circumstances. Makes suggestions for improvement. Proactive in ensuring job knowledge is current. Respect diversity - treat others with respect.
