Job Description
Kootenay Industries is looking for an experienced Pipefitter/Bench fitter for day shift.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Must have experience reading and interpreting isometric drawings. Knowledge of material grades. Working with both stainless and carbon steel Capable of tacking fittings and pipe ranging from 1/2''-30'' OD. Ability to fit spools in the proper sequence for roll welding Flame cut holes for attachments on pipe wall Maintain a safe work environment Participate in safety and company programs Follow work practices and procedures
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIANCE
Journeyman trade certificate 2+ years of experience in a fabrication shop required Working with stainless steel is an asset Use of a hand plasma Strong attention to detail Ability to work independently or as part of a team
