Pipefitter / Lead - Oil & Gas (Full-Time)

Schedule: 8-6 shift with flexibility for 10+ hour days and overtime

Job Summary

We are currently seeking an experienced Pipefitter/Operations Lead to support ongoing Oil & Gas field operations in Peace River, Alberta. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong pipefitting experience, the ability to lead crews, and a commitment to safety, quality, and productivity.

This position is ideal for a senior pipefitter or lead hand with operations experience who is comfortable working independently and in fast-paced environments.

Key Responsibilities

Perform pipefitting work safely, efficiently, and to specification Lead, direct, and support a crew in daily field activities Promote and enforce company safety policies and procedures Ensure work is completed on schedule and to quality standards Operate a picker truck and other equipment as required Assist with general operational and field duties as needed
Required Certifications

H2S Alive Standard First Aid Ground Disturbance Confined Space WHMIS / TDG Fall Protection CSTS Valid Driver's Abstract
Qualifications & Experience

High school diploma (preferred) 5+ years of experience in the oil and gas industry (preferred) Strong communication and leadership skills High attention to detail with a positive, professional attitude Proven commitment to safety and safe work practices Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Valid Class 5 driver's license (must be maintained) Valid class 3 drivers licence beneficial Willingness to complete and maintain required safety training
Work Conditions

Reliable transportation to and from the shop required Ability to work overtime, including evenings and weekends Must be physically capable of working outdoors in varying weather conditions
