CEDA is looking to hire a Pipefitter - Lead Hand for one of our client sites

Candidates must be local to the Bonnyville or Cold Lake area

What we offer:

Rate: $54.00 / hour Shift 4 on 3 off with 10 hour days (Compressed work schedule) with opportunity for overtime Full IMMEDIATE Benefits, health spending account and matching pension contributions

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Install new mechanical equipment (e.g., pumps, compressors, air dryers, converters, heat exchangers, relief valves, pressure-reducing valves, condensate tanks, recirculation pumps, booster pumps, pneumatic controls, coils, isolation valves, 3-way valves, condensate traps) Fit up and prepare piping requiring welded joints Liaise and collaborate with other trades, consultants and suppliers Cleans condensate traps and equipment strainers Provides occasional guidance to the primary function of others, including training. Read and interpret drawings, blueprints and specifications to determine layout requirements Cut openings for pipe in walls, floors and ceilings using hand or power tools or machines Measure, cut, thread and bend pipe to required shape using hand and power tools Thread joints to join pipes and fabricate sections of piping system Install supports, valves, piping and control systems Test system for leaks using testing equipment Other duties as assigned

Role Specifications

Journeyman status required valid driver's license (NO GDL) with no more than 4 demerits in last 3 years) Experience working in industrial plant setting H2S Alive, CSTS 2020 or CSO and First Aid required Confined Space entry, Fall Protection, Aerial Work Platform are considered assets Must provide negative Drug & Alcohol result from CEDA booked testing
