Jardeg is recruiting Pipefitter Journeypersons & 4th Year apprentices to join the team supporting Imperial Oil project site near Norman Wells starting immediately. On a 21/7 shift rotation and 12 hrs a day. Fly in & fly out from Calgary and Edmonton. Overtime time and travel pay eligible.
Steamfitter \xe2\x80\x93 pipefitters lay out, assemble, fabricate, maintain and repair piping systems which carry water, steam, chemicals or fuel used in heating, cooling, lubricating and other processes. Pipefitters also remove and replace worn components, do general maintenance work and may work on plant shutdowns.
Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate knowledge of functional operation of various piping system components by measuring, cutting, threading, grooving and bending of pipes, valves and fittings
- Hydrotest and install fabricated pipe spools within structural steel modular assemblies, adding designed supports as required
- Use testing equipment effectively to check for system leaks and troubleshoot fitting errors
- Maintain all tools, work area and equipment in a clean and orderly fashion
- Read and interpret client and company supplied construction fabrication drawings and specifications
- Red-line update drawings to an as-built condition
Minimum Requirements:
- Certified Pipefitter Journeyperson Ticket
- Non-Ticketed with Experience
- Physical strength and stamina
- Manual dexterity
- Safety conscious attitude
- Construction Safety Training Systems (2020) Certification
- H2S Alive
- AWP (asset)
- Energy Safety Canada Certified Confined Space (asset)
- Rigging level 1
- First Aid
- Valid Driver\'s License and a clean 3 Year Driver\'s Abstract
