Job Description

:

We are currently seeking an experienced Pipefitter with a background in operating a picker truck to join our team. You will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating pipefitting projects, including the operation of a tool truck/picker truck. This position requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise in pipefitting, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities:

Complete spool installation according to project specifications Read and interpret Isometric Drawings for accurate pipefitting Perform Hydrotesting and threaded piping projects Receive materials and coordinate logistics for project sites Conduct QA/QC inspections while assisting in spool fabrication Operate a picker truck while pulling trailers Torque flanges to ensure proper installation Adhere to Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) regulations and company policies Maintain a high level of attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a Pipefitter, with demonstrated leadership abilities Experience operating a picker truck and tool truck in a construction or industrial setting Proficiency in reading and interpreting installation drawings, including Isometric Drawings Valid safety tickets including First Aid, H2S, and CSO Clean driver's abstract and experience driving off-road and pulling trailers Strong understanding of torqueing procedures and flange installation Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively

Must have valid safety tickets prior to starting the position Must provide a clean driver's abstract upon hiring Need to have reliable transportation to and from shop You need to be indentured in the Pipefitting Apprenticeship Program (Journeyman is an asset but will consider 3rd and 4th year applicants as well) Benefits after three months employment is offered

Pay: $32.00-$52.00 per hour
