Job Summary


We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Pipefitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining piping systems used in manufacturing, construction, and HVAC applications. This role requires a strong understanding of blueprint reading, welding techniques, and mechanical systems to ensure the safe and efficient operation of piping infrastructure. The Pipefitter will collaborate with other trades and teams to complete projects accurately and on schedule.

Duties



Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine pipe layouts and specifications. Measure, cut, thread, assemble, and install piping systems using hand tools, calipers, and rigging equipment. Perform welding operations including MIG, TIG, and other welding techniques to join pipes securely. Conduct maintenance and repairs on existing piping systems to ensure optimal performance. Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues with piping or related equipment. Assist in the installation of HVAC systems, plumbing, or manufacturing process piping as needed. Follow safety protocols during all phases of installation and maintenance work. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while maintaining high quality standards.

Skills



Proficiency in MIG welding and TIG welding techniques. Experience with HVAC systems, plumbing, and manufacturing environments. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately. Strong mechanical knowledge related to piping systems and industrial equipment. Skilled in using hand tools, calipers, rigging gear, and other relevant tools for pipefitting tasks. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations required during installation. Knowledge of schematics for system layout and troubleshooting purposes. Familiarity with maintenance procedures for industrial piping and equipment. Ability to work safely in construction or manufacturing settings while adhering to safety standards.
