Overview

We are seeking a skilled Pipefitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the construction industry, particularly in Industrial installation and maintenance. This role requires a strong understanding of construction management principles, blueprint reading, and quality control processes. The Pipefitter will work closely with project managers and other tradespeople to ensure that all projects are completed on time and to the highest standards. Exact industrial is a unionize contractor, signatory to UA. Pay structure will follow unionize rates. Company vehicle and gas card.

Responsibilities

Install, assemble, and maintain piping systems for various applications. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project specifications. Collaborate with project managers to develop project schedules and budgets. Ensure compliance with Safety regulations and safety standards on construction sites. Conduct quality control inspections to ensure all work meets industry standards. Supervise and train apprentices as needed. Flexibility to be involved with multi projects Assist in project planning Material take offs and ordering Collaboration with other trades on multi-trade projects Troubleshoot issues related to piping systems Available for weekends and afterhours calls Periodically pickup items for jobs from Exact Industrial headquarters

Skills

Strong understanding of industrial piping installation techniques and materials. Experience with project scheduling Gas experience Welding PVC experience Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documents accurately. Knowledge of quality control processes within the construction industry. Familiarity safety practices on job sites. Excellent management skills with experience supervising teams effectively. Strong problem-solving abilities related to construction challenges.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $59.74 per hour

Expected hours: 36 - 60 per week
