Pipe Yard Loader

Our Client is looking to add a permanent full-time Pipe Yard Loader Operator to join our pipe yard team in Edmonton, AB. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, is able to prioritize tasks, follows safe working practices, and is customer focused.

We offer a broad range of pipe and tube products and customized services using a worldwide network of stock-keeping branches. Each day our employees apply their knowledge of sourcing, project management, logistics and stock planning on behalf of customers in the Industry and Energy markets.

Job Summary

Pick pipe orders

Operate equipment (Loader and band saw)

Record heat numbers accurately and legibly

Complete quality checks on picked orders confirming product, quantities, etc.

Receive material

Process paperwork for returns

Maintain yard in clean and safe condition

Perform cycle counts on inventory

Interact with all departments and levels of staff as well as customers and freight staff

Requirements and Qualifications

Minimum high school diploma

Minimum 2-3 years loader experience

Loader certificate

Product knowledge is an asset

Legible writing

Good interpersonal skills

Team oriented

Self-motivated and organized
