Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Pipelayer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in operating various types of heavy equipment. As a Pipelayer, you will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of waterlines, sewer line, storm lines as well as power/telecommunication lines in residential construction setting. At Offset Excavating, we ensure that all work is performed to the highest standards of safety and quality.

Duties

Install, repair, and maintain pipes for water, sewage, and other utilities. Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, backhoes, to assist in installation of pipes Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various tasks related to scope of work Perform rigging operations to safely lift and position materials as needed. Conduct inspections of installed pipes to ensure compliance with specifications and regulations. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and safely. Maintain equipment in good working condition through regular checks and basic repairs.

Qualifications

Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in heavy equipment operation. Familiarity with excavator and backhoe operation is essential. Experience with underground electrical is a plus. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools is desirable. Ability to perform rigging tasks safely and effectively. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices on the job site. Previous experience in pipelaying or related construction fields is preferred but not mandatory. Pay: $23.00-$32.00 per hour
