Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Pipelayer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heavy equipment operation, mechanical knowledge, and pipeline installation. This role involves working on various projects that require precision, safety awareness, and the ability to operate a range of tools and machinery. Candidates should be committed to safety standards and capable of working in a dynamic construction environment.

Duties

Lay, assemble, and repair underground pipelines using hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment such as excavators, backhoes, and bucket trucks Operate heavy machinery including rigging equipment, bucket operation machinery, and welding tools to ensure proper installation of pipelines Perform excavation tasks with excavators and backhoes to prepare trenches for pipeline installation Conduct electrical work related to low voltage systems as needed for pipeline projects Assist with the setup and operation of welding equipment for pipe joining and repairs Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and project specifications Maintain a clean and organized work site, adhering to safety protocols at all times

Experience

Proven experience with heavy equipment operation such as excavators, backhoes, bucket trucks, and rigging systems Mechanical knowledge related to pipeline installation processes Experience with electrical systems, particularly low voltage wiring and connections Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other construction tools Familiarity with welding techniques and safety procedures Ability to operate bucket operation machinery safely and efficiently Prior experience in pipeline or utility installation is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for qualified candidates with relevant skills in heavy equipment or construction trades
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 45 per week
