Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pipelayer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of pipelines, ensuring that all work is completed efficiently and safely. This role requires a strong understanding of various tools and equipment, as well as the ability to work in various weather conditions. The Pipelayer will collaborate closely with other construction professionals to ensure projects are completed on time and to specifications.

Responsibilities

Install, repair, and maintain pipelines for water, sewage, and other utilities. Operate heavy equipment such as rigs and bucket trucks to assist in digging trenches and laying pipes. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and joining pipe materials. Conduct site assessments to determine the best methods for installation based on terrain and existing infrastructure. Ensure compliance with safety regulations while performing all tasks on-site. Collaborate with team members to coordinate work schedules and project timelines. Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring that all tools and equipment are properly stored after use.

Skills

Proficient in heavy equipment operation, including bucket operation. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues. Experience with low voltage electrical systems is a plus. Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in construction settings. Ability to dig trenches safely while adhering to safety protocols. Excellent teamwork skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues on-site. Strong attention to detail to ensure quality workmanship throughout all phases of pipeline installation.
