Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Pipelayer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in operating heavy equipment. This role involves the installation and maintenance of pipelines, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards of safety and quality. The Pipelayer will work closely with other construction professionals to ensure efficient project completion.

Responsibilities

Install, repair, and maintain pipelines for water, gas, and sewage systems. Operate heavy equipment such as backhoes and bucket trucks for digging trenches and laying pipes. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks efficiently. Conduct site assessments to determine the best methods for pipeline installation. Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and within specifications. Follow safety protocols and guidelines while working on-site to minimize risks. Perform routine maintenance on equipment used in pipeline installation. Assist in troubleshooting low voltage electrical systems related to pipeline operations.

Qualifications

Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in digging and heavy equipment operation. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and rigging techniques. Experience with backhoe operation is preferred. Familiarity with low voltage electrical systems is a plus. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and physically demanding environments. Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team setting.
