Job type: Full-time Permanent
Wage:$30/hr - $35/hr (based on experience)
Job Duties and Responsibility:
- Install and maintain piping and associated systems adhering to acts and regulations to company standards
- Perform preventative maintenance procedures, to minimize downtime and maintenance costs, and manage equipment efficiencies
- Operating accessory equipment for pipe fitting (pipe beveling, pipe threading, pipe cutting, torch or plasma cutter, drill press)
- Measure, cut, thread, groove, bend, assemble and install metal pipe, valves, and fittings.
- H2S Alive Certified
- Confined Space Entry and/or Rescue
- CSTS 09 Trained and Certified
- Understanding of control systems is an asset
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in a variety of situation
- CWB Certified is an asset.
- Possession of a Pipefitter/Steamfitter Certificate of Qualification (307A), journeyperson status, and/or Red Seal Endorsement is required.
