Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various painting techniques and a strong background in construction and restoration. This role involves both residential and commercial painting projects, requiring attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results. The Painter will work closely with clients to understand their needs and ensure satisfaction throughout the project.

Duties

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primer as needed. Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project requirements. Perform restoration work on existing structures while maintaining quality standards. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various tasks including caulking and carpentry. Ensure proper rigging techniques are used when working at heights or in challenging environments. Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their vision and provide updates on project progress. Manage time efficiently to meet project deadlines without compromising quality.

Requirements

Proven experience in construction painting, residential painting, commercial painting, or industrial painting. Strong skills in blueprint reading and understanding of schematics. Proficiency with hand tools and power tools commonly used in the painting industry. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members. Strong time management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, standing for long periods, and working at heights.
