PAL Aerospace is currently looking for Captains (B1900) to join the Air Ambulance team in Halifax, NS. The Halifax PAL Aerospace Air Ambulance operation provides fixed wing service to the EHS LifeFlight program. EHS LifeFlight operates both fixed and rotary wing aircraft servicing Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island and New Brunswick for critical care air medical transport.

Position Overview:
The service PAL Aerospace provides to LifeFlight requires the applicant thrive in a team environment and be able to adapt to mission based flying. The primary roll this aircraft will perform for the LifeFlight program will be daily scheduled patient transports within the Maritimes. The aircraft will be a uniquely modified to accommodate both stretchered and seated walk on patients along with a number of medical personal for each mission. The position will require the successful applicant be Halifax-based and the schedule will be predicated on the pilot working a 50% days on/50% days off shift rotation.

Qualifications:
  • 3500 hours Total Time
  • 1000 hours on type or similar turbine preferred
  • 500 hours multi engine
  • 1000 hours PIC
  • ATPL
  • Must be capable of safely and frequently lifting a minimum of 50lbs
  • Demonstrated analytical and decision-making skills
  • Demonstrated teamwork and interpersonal skills
