Order Picker - Distribution Center
Location: Brampton, ON
Schedule: Day Shift (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM) or Mid Shift (12:00 PM - 8:30 PM)
Pay Rate: $17.60 per hour
Job Type: Full-Time, Temporary (with potential for long-term opportunities)
About the Role
Fuze HR is currently hiring Order Pickers to join a fast-paced and well-organized distribution center in Brampton, ON. This facility manages premium retail and fashion merchandise for global brands, operating in partnership with a large-scale logistics provider known for its safety, efficiency, and team-oriented environment.
As an Order Picker, you'll play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely fulfillment of customer orders. This position is ideal for individuals who take pride in their work, enjoy being active throughout the day, and thrive in a structured warehouse setting.
Key Responsibilities
Pick and prepare merchandise for shipment using RF scanners or pick lists.
Verify product codes, quantities, and descriptions to ensure accuracy.
Pack and label items for shipping or transfer in accordance with company standards.
Maintain a clean and organized work area while following safety procedures at all times.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily performance targets.
Assist with basic inventory and product movement when required.
Requirements
Previous experience in order picking, warehouse, or distribution environments is preferred.
Comfortable using RF scanners and basic warehouse management systems.
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and reliability.
Able to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs throughout the shift.
Excellent work ethic and ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
Must wear CSA-approved steel-toe safety shoes and a high-visibility safety vest.
