Piano & Voice Teacher

Key Responsibilities

Teach engaging one-on-one piano and/or voice lessons to students ranging from beginner to advanced levels. Create personalized lesson plans that reflect each student's goals, learning style, and musical interests. Integrate music theory, sight-reading, ear training, and performance skills into lessons. Provide constructive feedback in a supportive and encouraging way. Help students prepare for recitals, exams, and other performance opportunities. Communicate regularly with students and families about progress and lesson planning. Stay informed about new teaching resources, methods, and music education trends.

Qualifications

Proven experience teaching piano and/or voice, with a strong foundation in classical, contemporary, or both. Solid knowledge of music theory and strong proficiency on the piano. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to teach students of various ages, especially children and teens. Degree or diploma in Music, Music Education, or equivalent experience. Experience working in a private lesson or music school setting is a plus.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $40.00-$50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 0.5 - 4 per week
