Job Description

```Duties```
- Develop and implement music lessons and curriculum for students of various ages and skill levels
- Teach music theory, technique, and performance skills
- Plan and organize group classes and individual lessons
- Provide constructive feedback and guidance to students to help them improve their musical abilities
- Prepare students for recitals, performances, and competitions
- Collaborate with other music teachers and staff to coordinate events and programs

```Experience```
- Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching music, preferably in a classroom or private lesson setting
- Strong knowledge of music theory, notation, and various musical genres
-The ability to play multiple instruments is a plus
- Experience working with children and/or early childhood education background is highly desirable
- Proven ability to educate and engage students in a creative and inspiring manner

Requirements:

Strong work ethic and timeliness Own transportation Lesson preparation done outside of lesson times NO TAB, we are a curriculum based facility utilizing written methods Bachelor's degree in Music Education or related field preferred Teaching certification or equivalent experience Strong communication, organization and interpersonal skills Ability to work well with students, parents, and staff members Available to work Tuesday or Thursday evenings (beginning with one day)
