Calgary Piano Expressions

is a group of dedicated piano teachers passionate about sharing their love of music with their students! We have a fun-first focus, and hire teachers who share that approach.

Location

: in students' homes and/or teaching from your own private home studio in Calgary, Alberta. There is a full-time schedule available for a January start, as well as part-time hours.

Hours:

Schedules are highly customizable and easily fit around other commitments. Our most in-demand days are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 4pm to 8pm - earlier weekday lessons are usually available. Lessons on Friday (around 1-8pm), Saturday (morning/afternoon), and Sunday (morning/afternoon) are also possible. Schedules can be made to fit around university work hours or other regular commitments, and run from September to June. Hours in July and August may also be available.

Teachers:

We are looking for teachers who share our excitement for fun, professional piano teaching.

Education:Minimum Grade 9 RCM piano certificate is required (or equivalent). Piano pedagogy certification and/or a diploma/degree in music is an asset. Experience:Experience teaching piano, working with children and adolescents, or related experience is an asset. Location: Please apply

ONLY

if currently living in the city of Calgary and surrounding area (or planning to relocate). This position typically requires traveling to student's homes; access to one's own vehicle is usually necessary for teaching in students' homes.
