Piano Teachers

to teach

in-home private lessons

Weekday

afternoon and evening

teaching (starting after 3:00 PM) Teaching locations throughout Calgary, including Aspen Woods, Brentwood, Signal Hill, Glenbrook, Killarney, Altadore, Mahogany, and surrounding areas.

Job Responsibilities

As a

Piano Teacher

, you will:

Travel by vehicle to students' homes in Calgary, AB Teach private

piano lessons

(30-60 minutes each) to children, teens, and/or adults Create personalized lesson plans based on student goals, interests, and experience Teach beginner, intermediate, and advanced students in various musical styles Support student progress with positive, encouraging teaching methods
This role is ideal for teachers who enjoy one-on-one instruction, flexible hours, and building long-term relationships with students and families.

Qualifications

We are looking for applicants who have:

Strong piano skills and solid foundational music knowledge Experience teaching piano to students of different ages and levels A friendly, patient, and enthusiastic teaching style A valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle for travel between lessons Excellent communication and interpersonal skills A passion for teaching and helping students achieve their goals

Compensation

Our starting rate is

$45.00-$55.00 per teaching hour.

While travel time is not included, we plan routes and schedules strategically to minimize driving so you can maximize your time spent teaching.

Schedule

Weekdays after 3:00 PM Optional weekend availability Flexible schedule -- you choose your preferred number of students and hours
