The successful candidate would be:

Tasks:

Capable of teaching all levels of students of different age groups Encouraging and caring to help students develop an enjoyment and appreciation of music in a supportive environment. Motivated to create customized lesson plans tailored to each student's learning style and goals and deliver a high standard of music education Incorporate music theory, technique, and performance skills into lessons Prepare students for recitals and RCM exams

Qualifications:

RCM Certified/Equivalent or University Degree is an asset*
Previous teaching experience preferred*
Experience in early childhood education/development or working with young children*
Ability to play multiple instruments is an asset*
Able to communicate in multiple languages is an asset (eg. English, Korean, Mandarin, Punjabi, Hindi, etc)
