- must be able to travel to Burlington studio
- piano requirement: minimum RCM grade 7
- min 2 years of teaching experience
- university degree or equivalentWork Activities:Planning individual lessons and overall schemes of work;
Developing knowledge of materials and repertoire for students at different stages of their musical development;
Teaching individual and/or group lessons lasting from 30 minute to an hour, usually incorporating elements of general musicianship, such ear training and theory, as well as instrumental technique and interpretation;
Arranging lesson schedules, and entering students for examinations;
Communicating with parents about their childs lessons and progress;
Preparing pupils for performances, examinations, auditions and festivals;
Assessing students abilities, providing feedback and writing progress reports;
Motivating students and encouraging progress.Job Type: Part-timeEducation:
