We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Piano Teacher to join our music education team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in music education, particularly in teaching piano to young students and in preparing them for RCM exams (up to Level 3). Piano teacher will teach at the student's home, locations are in Midtown, Toronto. All students will be packed in 1 or 2 weekday (working hours will be between 4pm-9pm). The teacher is paid [et hour of teaching, not for the time spent in commuting between the students. Students' locations are close to each other, but having an own car is an asset. Teachers who fulfill the basic requirements will have an interview and an orientation meeting with the director of Sunny Day School of Music and will sign the contract before they start to work.
Requirements
Degree in piano performance/music pedagogy (ACRT or University degree)
Strong knowledge of music theory and piano techniques (needs to demonstrate it at the interview)
Canadian teaching experience in (1 year minimum) and international teaching experience (3 years minimum)
Ability to create a fun and engaging learning environment that inspires students (needs to deomonstrate it at the interview)
Being responsible (arriving on time, cancelling the lesson at least 3 days in advance)
Providing a background police check and a copy of ID
Having a car is an asset

Pay: $40.00-$50.00 per hour
