The Fantasia Academy of Music is looking for a piano instructor, who can ideally also teach other instruments or voice. However, the ability to teach additional instruments is not a requirement.
Qualifications:
ARCT Diploma or post-secondary music education
Minimum 1 year teaching experience
Patient and kind with students
Can travel to students' locations
Experience or knowledge of teaching online (e.g. through Zoom)
Responsible and punctual
Assets:
Can teach other instruments/voice in addition to piano
Bilingual/multi-lingual - can teach in a language other than English (e.g. Mandarin/Cantonese, Punjabi, Hindi etc.)
Experience teaching adults as well as children
In-person lessons are taught at students' locations or the teacher's location, depending on student preference. Therefore, the teacher should have access to a car or another form of transportation.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour
