Our Elora and Bullfrog Clinic is actively recruiting for
part-time and/or full-time PTA and/or Registered Kinesiologist (Also, offering an opportunity for fulltime hours with shift sharing between our Elora and Bullfrog clinic.)

Our ideal PTA/Kin will have completed Bachelor's degree in Human Kinetics or Kinesiology with 1-2 years of relevant experience in a clinical setting. Previous experience working with clients for functional testing, work simulations, functional exercises, work conditioning and specialized exercise experience (Bonefit, GLad, Pilates) will be considered an asset for this position.

JOB DESCRIPTION
The PTA/RKIN will provide exemplary care to our clients in the areas of Clinical and Occupational Health in accordance with practice standards. PTA/RKIN will work in a physiotherapy clinical setting providing health and wellness solutions to our clients.
Duties and Responsibilities include
(but are not limited to):
Working with Registered Physiotherapist to carry out specific exercise programs with an emphasis on shoulder, back and knee
Perform biomechanical, fitness, and functional assessments as a direct referral of a Physiotherapist
Design, implement and supervise graded exercise, work conditioning and/or work hardening programs
Independently assess and progress clients for unique exercise programs such as GLAD and Osteoporosis
Perform reassessment of client progress through functional testing
Record functional and subjective findings in client charts on a regular basis
Work cooperatively with clients to set and achieve functional goals
Complete functional components of reports for initial, progress and discharge for specialized WSIB populations
Ensure return to work plans with client and employer have been made and documented in the client chart
Be an active participant and promoter of Exercise is Medicine with clients and through appropriate social media streams
Qualifications Needed
Completed Bachelor's degree in Human Kinetics or Kinesiology or related degree or diploma
Registered with the College of Kinesiologists (CKO) of Ontario (in good standings) and have liability insurance is considered an asseet
Ontario Kinesiologists Association (OKA) registration an asset
Professional behaviour and communication that meets the standards of the professional regulatory college or association, as applicable, and the professional standards of EPA
Personal qualities must include high level of maturity, professionalism, respect for confidentiality and commitment to the superior level of customer satisfaction;
Demonstrates flexibility and the ability to work effectively in a team environment;
Embraces and promotes clinical fitness approaches - Exercise is Medicine
Prior experience in a Physiotherapy/Rehabilitation setting is an asset.
