SPINEgroup, a leading medical rehabilitation health clinic, is seeking one (1)

Part time Physiotherapy Assistant. Shift days currently include Tuesdays and Thursdays 12 noon to 7 pm.

Part time hours: 14 hours per week

Salary range:

22- 24 dollars/hr. Remuneration will be based on the applicant's level of skills and experience.

We are a team of healthcare professionals including; Chiropractors, Physiotherapists, Massage Therapists, Dietician and Medical Physician. We are committed to providing evidence based, program specific health care services to patients in order to achieve optimal health. SPINEgroup practices under an evidence based model and utilizes a secure EMR systems and a virtual platform for those patients requiring virtual care.

Patient population:

Publicly Funded (OHIP) Physiotherapy Bundled Care Post Surgical Rehab for Hips and Knees GLAD program for His and Knees OA Rapid Access Clinic for Low Back Pain Extended health care patients (sports / acute / chronic injuries/Vertigo/Vestibular Conditions) Workplace safety & insurance board (WSIB) patients Motor vehicle accident (MVA) patients Post-surgical patients (private)

SPINEgroup has enhanced hygiene and disinfectant practices to keep both patients and staff safe. We have installed plexiglass barriers and have several air purifiers throughout the clinic. Hand washing stations and hand sanitizers are also available. Both staff and patients are required to wear masks.

SPINEgroup is located in Vaughan, ON.

The successful candidate must be a foreign trained physiotherapist in the process of registering with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontari. At least 1

year of experience required..

Experience with MSK and pinal disorders, chronic pain is a must. Ideal candidates will also have experience and training dealing with vestibular conditions such as vertigo.
