At Carefor, our Physiotherapy Assistants are essential partners in care. Working under the direction of Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists, you'll bring treatment plans to life, guiding clients through exercises, motivating them during rehab, and helping them achieve their personal goals. Whether you're supporting recovery after injury, illness, or surgery, your role makes a direct impact on clients' quality of life every day.

What You Will Do:
Deliver therapeutic exercise programs (individual and group) under the direction of the Physiotherapist
Support rehabilitation progress by monitoring client abilities and reporting changes to the Physiotherapist
Motivate and encourage clients to achieve their goals and celebrate their progress
Apply and remove therapeutic modalities (ice, heat, etc.) as directed, always ensuring safety and comfort
Educate and reinforce techniques taught by Physiotherapists to support independence and recovery
Document and report client progress in line with clinical standards
Support program delivery by maintaining equipment, stocking supplies, and promoting safe care practices
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to create a client-centered care environment
Qualifications :
Physiotherapy Assistant Diploma (two-year program) from a recognized institution, or an undergraduate degree in Human Kinetics
Minimum 2 years of recent experience in rehabilitation, community, or long-term care settings
Strong knowledge of anatomy, rehabilitation principles, and exercise techniques
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to motivate clients and collaborate with care teams
Strong time management, organizational skills, and ability to adapt in a dynamic environment
Commitment to client-centered care with a compassionate and professional approach
Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle (required)
Bilingualism (French/English)
