Job Summary


We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Physiotherapy Assistant to join our healthcare team. Duties



Assist licensed physiotherapists during patient treatment sessions by preparing equipment and supporting therapy techniques Manage patient scheduling and coordinate appointments using electronic calendars and scheduling software such as Microsoft Outlook Calendar Maintain accurate records of patient progress, treatment plans, and session notes through data entry and documentation in electronic health records systems Support administrative tasks including filing, photocopying, proofreading documents, and transcribing notes to ensure seamless clinic operations Handle front desk responsibilities such as greeting patients, answering multi-line phone systems with professional phone etiquette, and managing patient inquiries Organize and facilitate patient intake processes, including verifying insurance information and updating personal details using office management software. Assist with office management duties such as inventory management of physiotherapy supplies and equipment maintenance Support event planning for community outreach programs or health workshops organized by the clinic Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient needs promptly and courteously while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism Utilize computer literacy skills across Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and other relevant applications to support daily administrative functions

Experience



Prior experience in an administrative or clerical role within a healthcare or office environment is highly preferred Personal assistant or executive administrative support experience will be considered an asset Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a busy setting Strong typing speed and data entry accuracy to handle documentation tasks effectively Familiarity with office management tools such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets), and office equipment including multi-line phone systems and fax machines Excellent communication skills with professional phone etiquette and customer service orientation Ability to proofread documents carefully and perform transcription accurately for clinical reports or correspondence Knowledge of project coordination principles to assist in organizing departmental activities or community events

Job Types: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $16.00-$18.00 per hour
