Our Clinic:
We have a bustling practice and a team of friendly, dedicated professionals. We're proud to be physiotherapist-owned. We work hard to create an excellent patient experience. And our operations are highly organized - we have a Clinic Manager, and we are continuously improving our systems and processes to support our therapists and our patients.
Our current caseload includes private, orthopedic, sports injuries, vestibular, neurological rehabilitation, Worker's Compensation Board, and Manitoba Public Insurance (automobile insurance) clients. Our clients are of all ages.
Here's what some of our staff say about working at River East Physiotherapy:
"It's all about the people. We have always been able to recruit and surround ourselves with a great group of caring and passionate individuals. It makes our work environment a fun and exciting place to be. It's also a very clean, efficient and extremely well-organized facility." - Don Charbonneau, BMR-PT* "I appreciate having good people around to discuss challenging cases and to bounce ideas off." - Julia McDaniels, BMR-PT* "Working at River East Physiotherapy over the years has been great! I started as a new grad, and in large part from the help of my colleagues, I have been able to learn and develop my professional skills and become a confident and experienced physiotherapist. The support staff are also great to work with, and help make my day run smoothly." - Ryan Pang*, MPT "River East Physiotherapy has a terrific array of professional treatment equipment that helps me provide great care to my patients" - Lauren Martens, MPT* "I love the work environment. The physios and massage therapists at River East Physiotherapy are driven by curiosity and a desire to help their clients get better. I'm always learning when I'm at work, at that's a great privilege." - Kris Seo, MPT* "I really enjoyed working with the team at River East, from the reception staff to our therapists. Everybody is ready to go out of their way to make sure patients' needs are being met. I think this creates a great environment for both the patient and the clinician." - Ryan Corkal, MPT, River East Physiotherapy alumnus.*
Living in Winnipeg:
Winnipeg is known for its arts & cultural activity - world-class theatre, dance, live music, nightlife, and a serious food scene. Our clinics are located in North Kildonan, a calm neighbourhood with tree-lined streets and many charming homes. Housing and the cost of living is remarkably affordable compared to other major Canadian cities.
What our therapists say about Winnipeg:
"I love that Winnipeg feels like a big village, but it has all the services and amenities of a big city. I also love the number of parks and green spaces our city has to offer, and how close we are to nature." - Julia McDaniels, BMR-PT* "I love that Winnipeg has such a great music scene." - Dana Bubenko, BMR-PT* "I love the friendliness of Winnipeggers. I often get a 'hello' or 'good morning' from strangers, and it always makes me smile." - Kris Seo, MPT* "I love how multicultural Winnipeg is, and I appreciate this most when trying out different restaurants throughout the city. Also, the Winnipeg Jets!" - Ryan Pang, MPT* "I like the people here. When I see the words 'Friendly Manitoba' on our vehicle license plates, I one-hundred percent agree with that - Manitobans are truly friendly. I feel at home here." - Yulia Agarkov*, RMT "The summers are amazing - it gets really hot and there are so many lakes and beaches nearby. Like, white sand beaches and crystal clear water, I'm not kidding. Winnipeg is so underrated - when I came here last summer I was blown away by the quality of theatre, dance and live music." - Andrea Grant, MScPT* "I love our walking and running trails for walking my dog, and all the friendly people in North Kildonan." - Lauren Martens, MPT* "I love the people of Winnipeg and I love the lakes and outdoors - in both the summer and the winter." - Ryan Corkal, MPT, River East Physiotherapy alumnus*
