Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physiotherapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive patient care within a multidisciplinary model. The Physiotherapist will develop and implement individualized care plans to improve patient mobility, reduce pain, and promote overall well-being. This role requires a strong foundation in physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology, with experience in diverse clinical environments.

Duties

Assess patients' physical conditions and develop tailored treatment plans to address their specific needs. Implement physiotherapy techniques such as trigger point therapy, orthopedics, geriatrics, pediatrics, and other care interventions. Manage patient progress through regular evaluations and adjustments to care plans. Utilize Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems to document patient assessments, treatments, and outcomes accurately. Educate patients and their families on exercises, mobility strategies, and injury prevention techniques. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient recovery and rehabilitation outcomes.

Requirements

Valid licensure as a Physiotherapist in BC Proven experience in inpatient, outpatient, hospital, home health, or clinic settings. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and physiotherapy techniques such as trigger point therapy. Experience with discharge planning and developing comprehensive care plans for diverse populations. Familiarity with EMR systems for documentation and patient management. Knowledge of specialized areas such as orthopedics, geriatrics, pediatrics, acute care, and outpatient therapy. Excellent patient care skills with the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams. Private practice experience would be ideal. Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $84.00-$95.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
