Responsibilities
Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical conditions and functional abilities.
Develop personalized treatment plans based on individual patient needs and goals.
Implement therapeutic interventions to enhance mobility, strength, and overall physical function.
Educate patients and their families about treatment options, exercises, and self-care techniques.
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in accordance with hospital policies.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care effectively.
Stay updated on the latest advancements in physiotherapy practices and medical terminology.
Skills
Proficiency in acute care physiotherapy techniques and practices.
Experience working with pediatric patients is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to patient assessments and treatments.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
Ability to demonstrate empathy and compassion in patient care settings.
Strong organizational skills for managing multiple cases simultaneously.
