Responsibilities

:

Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patients' conditions, including reviewing medical history and performing physical examinations Develop personalized treatment plans based on patients' goals and needs Provide hands-on manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and modalities to promote healing and pain relief Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly Educate patients on self-management techniques, injury prevention, and home exercise programs Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient assessments, treatments, and progress

Qualifications

:

Master's degree in Physiotherapy

from an accredited institution.

Valid license

to practice in Ontario Valid

Malpractice Insurance

Minimum

2 years of experience

as a physiotherapist, preferably in a clinic setting Comprehensive knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics Proficiency in assessing and diagnosing musculoskeletal conditions and injuries Expertise in developing and implementing personalized treatment plans Strong manual therapy skills, including joint mobilization, soft tissue release, and therapeutic exercises Familiarity with modalities such as ultrasound, laser, combo, electrical stimulation, and heat/cold therapy Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with patients, families, and health care professionals Ability to educate and encourage patients in their recovery process Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems and documentation Bonus: if trained in FST, Mulligan, Pelvic rehab, Dry needling, CSCS or other specialty techniques
