iScope Concussion & Pain Clinic is a specialized treatment and assessment centre offering a range of services and treatments with several locations across Canada. ROLE SUMMARY
iScope Concussion & Pain Clinics is seeking a dynamic individual with strong interpersonal skills to join our team as Physiotherapist. The incumbent will work closely with our specialist physicians and healthcare practitioners in coordinating and assisting in various aspects of clinical operations and practices. We will provide a full caseload, within 3 weeks of hire!
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assessing out-patient standard and neurological conditions, complex concussion and vestibular. conditions. Our population may have neurological comorbidities or multiple complex injuries.
Creating and implementing individualized treatment plans based on analysis and clinical reasoning.
Utilizing e-charting software to document treatment sessions and recommendations.
Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team at your clinic.
Communicating with external stakeholders and client referral sources.
EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE:
Registration (member in good standing) with the provincial College of Physiotherapists
2 + years' experience treating clients as a Physiotherapist
The completion of advanced orthopedic courses is a strong asset
Training/certification in Vestibular Rehabilitation and or Concussion Rehabilitation
Experience with whole body trauma, complex cases, and neurological conditions
Experience with myofascial release techniques or pelvic floor therapy are added bonuses
