For information regarding placement requirements, licensing and exams please visit:The Physiotherapist reports to the Program Manager the Physiotherapist assesses, diagnoses and treats patients in a tertiary care setting who present with actual or potential impairment, pain, functional limitations or disabilities. Physiotherapy assessment involves obtaining a detailed medical history, performing specific and standardized tests and evaluation procedures to determine a physical diagnosis. Holistic treatment programs are developed using exercises, education, and manual, mechanical, electrical and hydrotherapy techniques to assist the patient in regaining and/or maintaining an optimal level of function.
