Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physiotherapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a hospital setting and possess a strong understanding of acute care, pediatrics, and patient care. As a Physiotherapist, you will play a crucial role in helping patients recover from injuries, manage pain, and improve their overall physical function through tailored rehabilitation programs.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to determine their physical condition and rehabilitation needs. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations and goals. Utilize various therapeutic techniques and modalities to enhance patient recovery, including exercises, manual therapy, and education on injury prevention. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to patient care. Maintain accurate records of patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes in accordance with medical terminology standards. Provide guidance and support to patients and their families regarding treatment options and home exercise programs. Stay updated with the latest advancements in physiotherapy practices and participate in ongoing professional development.

Requirements

A degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution. Valid licensure to practice as a Physiotherapist in the relevant jurisdiction. Previous hospital experience is preferred, particularly in acute care settings. Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus. Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to physiotherapy practices. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with patients. A commitment to providing high-quality patient care and promoting wellness within the community.

Pay: $30.77-$82.57 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
