The caseload primarily consists of ambulatory referrals from the Orthopedic Clinic as well providing primary services to referrals from external sources to the Orthopedic Service. The Physiotherapist provides assessment, intervention, and follow-up (as indicated) on a direct, consultative and monitoring basis. The Physiotherapist works in collaboration with the interprofessional team to provide optimal care to patient and families. The Physiotherapist works in collaboration with the Physiotherapy Professional Practice Leader. The Physiotherapist participates in the education of patients/families, Health Centre staff, and students, as well as in care team and discipline meetings. As a member of the Physiotherapy Service, the Physiotherapist shares responsibility with all IWK Physiotherapists to provide caseload coverage throughout the Health Centre, as well as weekend standby and call back coverage on a rotational basis.Hours of WorkMonday-Friday 7.5 hours/shift, as well as weekend standby and call back coverage on a rotational basis.Your Qualifications
