We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physiotherapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive patient care across various settings, including outpatient, home health, and community care. This role involves developing and implementing personalized care plans to facilitate recovery and improve mobility for diverse patient populations, including pediatrics, geriatrics, orthopedics, and those in acute care or rehabilitation. The Physiotherapist will utilize their expertise in physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to deliver effective treatment and support discharge planning.
Duties
Assess patients' physical conditions through detailed evaluations of physiology and anatomy knowledge.
Develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to patient needs across inpatient, outpatient, home health, and community settings.
Administer a variety of physiotherapy techniques such as trigger point therapy and other manual therapies.
Assist patients with mobility, pain management, and functional recovery through targeted interventions.
Coordinate discharge planning with healthcare teams to ensure smooth transitions from hospital to home or community care.
Utilize EMR systems for documentation of patient progress and treatment plans.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes in areas such as orthopedics, geriatrics, pediatrics, and acute care.
Provide education to patients and caregivers regarding physiotherapy exercises and injury prevention strategies.
Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and standards for patient safety and confidentiality.
Skills
Strong knowledge of physiotherapy techniques including trigger point therapy and orthopedics.
Proficiency in medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and clinical assessment skills.
Experience in acute care, outpatient, home & community care settings.
Familiarity with EMR systems for accurate record keeping.
Ability to work effectively in outpatient clinics.
Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach tailored to pediatrics, geriatrics, or specialized populations.
Knowledge of home & community care practices to support patients outside clinical settings.
