Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physiotherapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care and a thorough understanding of physiotherapy practices. This role involves working with diverse patient populations, including pediatrics, geriatrics, and those requiring acute care. The Physiotherapist will be responsible for developing and implementing effective treatment plans to enhance patients' mobility and quality of life.

Duties

Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to determine their physical therapy needs. Develop individualized care plans based on assessment findings and patient goals. Implement physiotherapy interventions, including manual therapy, exercise programs, and trigger point therapy. Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated care in inpatient, outpatient, and home health settings. Educate patients and their families about treatment options, self-care techniques, and rehabilitation strategies. Maintain accurate documentation of patient evaluations, treatments, and progress using EMR systems. Participate in discharge planning to ensure a smooth transition for patients leaving acute care settings.

Skills

Strong knowledge of physiology and anatomy relevant to physiotherapy practices. Proficiency in medical terminology related to patient care and rehabilitation. Experience in various settings such as hospitals, clinics, home health, and community care. Familiarity with discharge planning processes and the ability to create effective care plans. Expertise in treating diverse populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, orthopedics, and acute care patients. Ability to utilize EMR systems for documentation and communication purposes. Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
