The Physio Approach is looking for an eager, motivated Registered Physiotherapist with the same philosophy to join our team of experienced, patient-centred health-care professionals. Strong skills in the areas of communication, patient education and exercise prescription are required for this position. Interest or experience in advanced manual physiotherapy, pelvic floor physiotherapy, medical acupuncture and dry needling/IMS are also assets.

This is a part-time position, but an established caseload will be passed onto candidate as one current physio will be taking a leave in December. This position has the opportunity to become full time.

Who are we?

The Physio Approach is a physiotherapist-owned private practice, operating in the heart of North York. We have a growing reputation of providing exceptional patient-centered care. We have strong relationships with orthopedic surgeons, sports and family physicians, and focus on collaborative care to efficiently rehab our patients. We have three private rooms and a large gym space with a view. All initial assessments are one hour in length, with follow ups being 30, 45 or 60 minutes depending on your treatment plan.

Your Role:

As a Physiotherapist at The Physio Approach, you will be responsible for:

Utilizing your practical and critical analytic skills to perform thorough assessments and treatments Accurately communicating and educating your patients regarding their condition/injury and administering an individualized treatment plan catered towards their dysfunction Accurately documenting patients' conditions and progress, adhering to college standards and guidelines Participating in ongoing mentorship and clinical education to continually enhance your skills Building and managing your own caseload by engaging with local referral sources

Requirements:

Licensed and in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario, with valid liability insurance Strong communicator who values a positive patient experience Experience in the following: Manual Therapy (ie: AIM courses) Dry needling and/or acupuncture Pelvic floor physiotherapy Or willingness to pursue the above mentioned courses Commitment to personal and professional growth through mentorship, on-going education Ability to adapt to feedback and adjust client care and performance accordingly
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $80.00-$90.00 per hour

Expected hours: 18 - 24 per week
