Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and collaborative Licensed Physiotherapist to join our growing clinical team. Key Responsibilities:
The typical responsibilities of the physiotherapist include but are not limited to:
Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
Deliver physiotherapy services including manual therapy, modalities, and exercise programs
Prepare clear and timely treatment records (i.e., initial, progress, and discharge)
Ensure documentation meets College of Physiotherapists of Ontario standards
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to provide coordinated care
Educate patients on diagnosis, treatment plans, and preventative strategies
Maintain a clean, safe, and professional treatment environment
Follow clinic processes, procedures, and contribute to operational efficiency
Requirements and Qualifications:
MScPT, BScPT, or CPA-approved equivalent
Registered and remain in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario
Experience in clinical assessments and treatment and able to balance a heavy patient caseload
Clinicians are to maintain their own required insurance, dues, association fees, etc. to remain in good standing with their college
Experience managing diverse caseloads and working with third-party payers (e.g., MVA)
Working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team
Maintaining up to date patient charts and documentation
Demonstrate strong organizational, communication, and decision-making skills
Effective problem-solving and sound clinical judgement
Collaborative, personable, and patient-centered
Pay:
Rate of pay is negotiable and will be based on experience and qualifications.
