Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physiotherapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a clinic setting and possess a strong background in acute care and pediatrics. This role involves assessing, planning, and implementing individualized treatment programs to enhance patient recovery and mobility. The Physiotherapist will work closely with patients to provide high-quality care while utilizing medical terminology effectively.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical abilities and needs. Develop tailored treatment plans aimed at improving mobility, strength, and overall physical function. Implement therapeutic interventions, including exercises, manual therapy, and modalities as appropriate. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans based on individual responses to therapy. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care. Educate patients and their families about treatment options, home exercises, and injury prevention strategies. Maintain accurate documentation of patient evaluations, treatments, and progress notes in compliance with healthcare regulations. Stay updated on the latest physiotherapy practices and advancements in patient care.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution. Valid state licensure or certification to practice as a Physiotherapist. Previous clinic experience preferred, particularly in acute care settings. Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus. Strong understanding of medical terminology related to physiotherapy and patient care. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients and their families. Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team while demonstrating strong organizational skills.
