We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physiotherapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing physiotherapy interventions to improve patients' physical health and mobility. This role requires a compassionate approach to patient care, along with the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. The Physiotherapist will work with patients across various settings, including inpatient, outpatient, and home health environments.
Duties
Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical conditions and needs.
Develop individualized care plans based on assessment findings and patient goals.
Implement physiotherapy treatments using evidence-based practices, including trigger point therapy and rehabilitation techniques.
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
Provide education to patients and their families regarding treatment plans, exercises, and self-management strategies.
Document all patient interactions accurately in EMR systems, ensuring compliance with medical terminology standards.
Participate in discharge planning for patients transitioning from acute care settings to home or community care.
Skills
Strong knowledge of physiology and anatomy relevant to physiotherapy practice.
Experience in acute care settings, including hospital environments.
Familiarity with outpatient clinic operations and home health services.
Ability to develop effective care plans tailored to pediatric, geriatric, and orthopedic populations.
Proficiency in using EMR systems for documentation and patient management.
Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
Understanding of discharge planning processes to facilitate smooth transitions for patients.
