As a Physiotherapist, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the lives of patients through tailored rehabilitation programs and therapeutic interventions. What you'll do

Develop and implement individualized care plans based on thorough assessments of patients' needs and goals. Conduct discharge planning to ensure smooth transitions from hospital to home or community care. Provide physiotherapy treatments using evidence-based practices, including trigger point therapy and orthopedic rehabilitation. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care across acute care, pediatrics, geriatrics, and outpatient settings. Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, exercises, and self-management strategies to promote independence. Maintain accurate documentation using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems to track patient progress and outcomes. Stay updated with the latest advancements in physiology knowledge and medical terminology to enhance treatment effectiveness.

Basic qualifications

Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to physiotherapy practice. Experience in home & community care settings as well as hospital environments. Proficient in developing care plans that cater to diverse patient populations, including geriatrics and pediatrics.

Preferred qualifications

Previous experience in inpatient physiotherapy or clinic settings. Familiarity with acute care protocols and outpatient rehabilitation practices. Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $50.00-$68.01 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 25 per week
