Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physiotherapist to join our Family Doctor Clinic as we see large of MVA cases in our MVA Clinic and Family Practice. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in assessing, planning, and implementing personalized treatment plans to improve patients' mobility, strength, and overall well-being. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic clinical environment where patient care and professional growth are prioritized. Candidates with hospital experience, especially in acute care or pediatrics, will find this role particularly rewarding. The Physiotherapist will collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive rehabilitative services.

Responsibilities



Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical conditions and develop individualized treatment plans. Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other modalities to promote recovery. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly to ensure optimal outcomes. Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, management techniques, and post-treatment care. Document patient interactions accurately in medical records while maintaining confidentiality. Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate care plans for patients across various settings including hospitals and clinics. Assist in the development of rehabilitation programs tailored for pediatric, adult, or geriatric populations as needed. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical terminology, current physiotherapy practices through ongoing professional development and submit the billings.

Qualifications



Valid license or registration as a licensed Physiotherapist in the relevant jurisdiction. Prior hospital experience is preferred, especially in acute care or pediatric settings. Strong understanding of patient care principles and medical terminology. Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams. Compassionate approach with a commitment to improving patient outcomes and toward senior patients. Pay: $58,530.28-$141,315.15 per year

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
